Nation of Darellon
Darellon is one of the three member states of The Glayswen Confederacy. It is a sprawling land of rolling hills, fields, and rivers that people of many races name as their home. The land has been prosperous for the majority of recorded history due to abundant natural resources and fertile lands. The nation is governed as a crowned republic, with a legislative parliament and a constitutional monarch. The king rules as a figurehead representing the will of the people and actively petitions parliament on their behalf for certain issues.
Currently the Nation of Darellon is the main front of the ongoing Great War. As it stands now, the nation has been split roughly in half by invasion of the Brovian Imperium and the staunch defense of the Glayswen Confederacy. The war has been locked in a near standstill for years, causing a surge in emigration from the country to other lands by many while others fight in resistance movements or have become collaborators in occupied regions.

Demography and Population
Pre-War
Before the outbreak of the Great War the Nation of Darellon was home a range of humanoid races, most notably Humans, Halflings, Elves, Gnomes. Dwarves also became a major component of the populaton in the wake of the last Jordish Civil War. Altogether the total population before the war began was recorded at around 42,316,000.- Dwarves- 17%

Current
Becoming the main front of the war, needless to say, has affected the population of Darellon the most. Civilian casualties vary drastically and the untold number of refugees fleeing the nation make it hard to determine just how much the native population has been impacted. Territories
The Nation of Darellon occupies a large swath of land on the eastern portion of the northern half of Vyrania. The northern boundary of the nations meets with the border of Glayswen and the Gulf of Lereen. The eastern border runs along the coast, following the Long Bay. The bulk of the south borders the Brovian Imperium. About 100 miles of the southern border also touches territory of the Republic of Aethra. Lastly, a long mountain range partitions the western border of Darellon.
Darellon is currently only a fraction of its former self. Before the outbreak of war, the previous king protested joining the Glayswen Confederacy. He was forced to abdicate, but he had enough supporters that he was allowed to claim a small territory and secede. This land in the south was formally recognized as the Darellon Neutral State, which is now an isolationist state taking no side in the war. The long border adjoining with the Brovian Imperium made the area hard to defend, especially against the better equipped Imperium forces early in the war. The occupied areas under the control of the Imperium the longest are currently ruled by a provisional government while areas nearer to the front are under martial law. The nation is split by a no man's land miles long that runs almost its entire breadth. The eastern and northern coasts are also being attacked by Brovia via the Long Bay, opening a smaller second front.
