Robert De Verley

Robert De Verley is the reigning King of Darellon and became so as a result of the formation of the Glayswen Confederacy. The previous king, a distant relative, opposed the alliance and was forced to step down with Robert as his replacement by acclaim of the people. An act of the High Parliament solidified his position in quick succession. Robert had advocated the benefits of the alliance for years and had a great deal of support while his cousin had claimed joining would only make the country more of a target. Darellon did indeed become the main battleground of the Great War from the outset, but the Glayswen Confederacy kept it from falling within months.
