Amara is the niece of Lady Umiko and Sir Caspian, and the next in line for the water fairy throne.

Background
Amara was born to Nanami, a royal, and Tidus, a man who married into royalty but came from an average background. As the owner of a bar on the beach of Emerriden Isle, her father wanted to give Amara as normal of an upbringing as he could. While Amara still attended her fair share of royal events, she spent most of her life helping tend to her father's business and getting to know the people of Emerriden Isle as they came in and out of the bar. She recognizes every face, even one-time customers. She was 15 when the previous heir to the throne, Coral Cove ran away, and thus, the mantle fell onto her. Since she was not raised getting royal treatment, the transition into it was very exciting. And despite being the new heir, she still does her best to balance her more 'normal' life with the hubbub of a royal one. At a royal event, she ended up meeting Rei, and the two ended up getting along swimmingly. After a few years of going steady, the two of them got engaged.Personality
Amara is very down to earth, and avoided inheriting too much snootiness from her position as a royal due to being raised separated from it. She's incredibly humble, and will never be the first to bring up her royal blood. She would much rather blend into a crowd as a fairy just like her peers. She sees the good in everyone, sometimes to a fault, often overlooking glaring red flags. While she isn't afraid to call things out when she sees it, she also believes that there's a possibility for everyone to grow and be better. She's incredibly sociable and seems to know everyone, or at least makes a big effort to. A stranger is just a friend she hasn't made yet!Appearance
Amara has brown skin and ombre hair, currently in braids, but she likes to style it in a myriad of ways. Her hair transitions from dark blue to teal to light purple. She has aquamarine colored eyes. Amara dresses very casually, not too interested in updating her wardrobe to reflect her newfound princess status. She chooses comfort over fashion, though her outfits still manage to find a good blend of both.Trivia
