The survivors have found their way into a small town at the southern border of the Empire.

After escaping the airship crash and coming out of the woods with two more people in tow, the survivors made their way to a small town named Lillyhall and discovered themselves at the southern edge of the Prasus Empire. They proceeded to get themselves situated at a local inn and take stock of their funds, abilities, and supplies available to hopefully help them on their way.   While in town they found themselves at odds with a group of local miners and their head, Markus Hardstone who seemed to have a thumb over the town and is attributed to keeping it running. As they met the various inhabitants, including a recluse, ornery gnome and a chatty blacksmith, Belomar spent some time with some passing caravans at The Dalis Society hoping to glean useful information or rumors only to find word that a former mercenary company, The Golden Gauntlets, had disbanded and reformed in favor of a increasingly strict and fervent worship of Helm with them calling themselves Ashbringers.   As the band found themselves in need of a large sum of gold to cure Seek of a disease incurred during battle along with general supplies, they made sure that the other survivors from the clergy and Taloned Reach were situated and had dinner with Markus. There they were given information regarding a pricey family heirloom that he would pay them for should they dig it up from the Deep Run. With information in hand afterwards and a bit of distrust toward the man giving it, the group decided to head off to the abandoned and lost town of Ashvale nearby, ruined deep in the crag that had opened below it long ago.
