A strange blue, half orc woman named Ina'vi joined the group after tracking them and analyzing their battle prowess.
Morgan left the party in the night not wanting to endanger them with trying to discover what these strange new abilities were.
The party travels the road toward Trenenkirk discovering an abandoned caravan with a murdered woman and man inside the cart. There is no sign of their missing child beyond heavy footprints leading toward the Ironweld assumed by the group to be from Martuun and the Hardstone children.

Seeing the armored man, Balazar, that had sacked and razed her home, Ina'vi launched herself at him as he went to leave disappearing into a portal of shadow and darkness. Her status to the party is now unknown.
The party spent some time in Trentenkirk being hailed as the Heroes of the Nights Eye and enjoyed being able to put their feet up for a brief period. Some of the members spent time crafting, others spent time learning, and some even ventured out of town to the nearby High Forest foraging. After a while however, the group decided it was time to move on and took to the road heading to the Cradle of the Empire, Oberrun. Arriving in the early morning to a luke warm welcome by an Ashbringer priest the group finally finds their feet in one of the larger cities in the Empire.
While travelling to the city of Oberrun the party met with a strange sun elf woman named Althea Ashgrove, a member of the Raven's Feather Grove from the city sent to preform rites of the Raven Queen for the murdered villagers in Trentenkirk. The party was suspicious of her, travelling alone at night with an abnormal lantern that glowed ice blue, but chatted with her for a time at their camp before letting her on the way.

During an attack in the center of Oberrun, the remaining members of the group received aide from Nymue, the triton gladiator; Grizzly, the shifter monk; and Tallulah, the harpy druid. Spending a number of days on the road the party made their way out of the Empire to Camp Astera, a settlement at the edge of the Sembian Kingdom. Along the way however they were accosted by a blue dragon looking to expand their territory. To avoid potentially being killed by the beast Tallulah and Seek told them about the city of Oberrun and how it had fallen hoping that the demons and dragon would kill each other. Seek, however, took a moment a few days later and used his new powers to see that the dragon had pulled the demons under its thrall and now made Oberrun its home enslaving any who remained in the area. Not wanting to turn back with the more dire situation ahead regarding the Shards potentially ending up in nefarious hands, the group opted to press on past Fort Shivverfell, dodging Seek and SvG's wanted posters, toward the Camp and the desert.
