Lillyhall
A small town at the edge of The Prasus Empire it has seen its fair share of ups and downs. The town acts as one of the last true settlement stops out of the Empire or first in where traders and caravans can rest, water horses, and stock basic supplies. Lillyhall itself is mostly a mining town staying afloat through the operation of an old mine under Markus Hardstone out of the Ironweld forest nearby.
Demographics
Much of the town is of human decent although it is not totally unexpected to see dwarves, half elves, or gnomes here passing through. Few besides the humans choose to settle here.
Government
This town falls under the jursidiction of the Prasus Empire and has a Field Warden, Tevlin and the Harvest Guards , who sees that Empire law is adhered too.
Defences
There's little to this town in regards to defenses or barricades beyond posted guards at the two main gates of the town on either side flanked by a small palisade.
Industry & Trade
Many of the residences here mine in the old mine nearby under the eye of Markus Hardstone, although a number do farm the land around the town.

Located within this small town is a small Inn, The Mean Pickaxe; "magic shop," Navil's Quills and Quandries; blacksmith, The Tilted Anvil; along with staple locations of The Dalis Society and Hightower's General Goods.
History
Lillyhall is actually the reforming of a former town that was lost nearby, Ashvale. Sometime ago, the ground beneath the thriving town of Ashvale opened up as the mine dried up and swallowed the entire town into the earth beneath it. This event seemed to be unrelated to The Calamity and Titan Rise. Although many of the residents perished during this a number were able to escape with their lives and re-established nearby the town of Lillyhall hoping to continue the town's prosperity. This was not to be the case as the mine had dried up and without anything to trade or export with the town could not survive solely on the caravans that stopped, even with the help from The Empire.
Within a few years of Lillyhall's creation disaster struck again when a panicked goblin clan was pushed out from the nearby Southwood by a rising orc tribe. Due to a severe misunderstanding between the residents and the goblins, the goblins attacked the town killing a number of townspeople and ransacking supplies. Although the town recovered, some of the older members of the community hold resentment and anger toward goblin and orc-kind.
After this attack the town began to shutter and many people moved on to other locations including nearby Trentenkirk and Kesserlaide, swelling these small villages into larger towns. However, the child of one of the families, Markus Hardstone , returned and was able to get the mine running once more prompting people to return and trade to come back into the town again. With the mine running Lillyhall was able to pull back from the brink and become stable once more at the edge of The Empire.
Geography
Located outside of the Southwood forest nearby this village is settle in a relatively flat area with the strange Ironweld forest nearby along with some small mountains backed by the Iceshield River.
