Great Wheel
The Great Wheel cosmology is the dominant cosmological model of the pre-Spellplague and post-Second Sundering eras. It contains all of the planes of existence: the Material Plane, its echoes, the transitive planes, the inner planes, the outer planes, and the energy planes. The only plane to exist outside of this is the Far Realm, about which little is understood.
The Great Wheel arranges the planes in a circular fashion, with the Material Plane at its centre. There are many different worlds in the Material Plane, each with different fundamental rules and located within wildspace systems. For instance, gunpowder does not function within the systems of Realmspace, Greyspace, and Krynnspace, but it does on the many other planes of the Great Wheel.
