Selene - God of the Moon

Selene is the Goddess of the Moon, she is a pensive and protective deity who watches over the resting world and guides those that are lost. She is often referred to as “Mother Moon” by her followers.
Selene is the Twin of the God Helios, her polar opposite. While the twins used to close they no longer have much of a relationship.
Selene is only worshipped by specific cults, and commonly alongside her mother Nyx as they share similar domains. Selene’s largest following is the theocracy of the Kingdom of Lorth’elon, which is majoritively composed of Moon Elves, of whom Selene is the Divine Patron of.
Exorsia’s first moon, Theira, is also sacred to Selene and a symbol of her power. While the light of the full moon the clerics of Selene become empowered.

Apperance

Selene is exclusively depicted as feminine, commonly as a middle aged beautiful figure, usually with long, braided, white hair and pale, silver skin. She is often depicted with a crescent crown and as radiating moonlight, whose strength is reflective of the Theira’s cycle and is strongest during a full moon.

Seleméra - The 15th of every month.
Is the day when Exorsia’s largest moon. Theira, becomes full, the followers of Selene undergoing religious ceremony in devotion to their goddess. This practice is popular among the Moon Elves of the Kingdom of Lorth’elon.
