Eesos
Eesos, sometimes called the Blood Moon, is one of the three moons orbiting the planet of Exorsia.
Eesos is the smallest of Exorsia's moons, and has a reddish or orange appearance due to its heavy atmosphere and desert-like surface.
Eesos has the largest orbit of any of Exorsia's moons, having a 180 Day Cycle. Because of this Eesos is seen quite infrequently and becomes full only twice a year, on the 30th of Trítos and the 30th of Énatos, which lines up with the Spring and Autumn Equinox.
When Eesos is full there are no other moons in the sky, with the night becoming cloaked in a red glow, this is where Eesos got nickname the "Blood Moon". Eesos is universally seen as a bad omen across Exorsia, with the population rarely leaving the safety of their homes while the Blood Moon is full due to the belief that it's light attracts monsters to the surface and empowers them with a blood frenzy.
