Eesos

Exorsia is orbited by three moons. Eesos is the smallest of the three moons and has a a reddish/orange appearance due to its heavy atmosphere and desert-like surface.
Eesos has the largest orbit of any of Exorsia's moons, taking 180 days to orbit the planet. This means it is seen quite infrequently becoming full only twice a year, on the 30th of Trítos and the 30th of Euatos, lining up with the Spring and Autumn Equinox. At this time there are no other moons in the sky and the night is cloaked in a red glow and givine Eesos the nickname the Blood Moon and is universally seen as an omen. People rarely leave the safety of their homes under a Blood Moon due to the belief that the Blood Moon brings out monsters.
