The Isle for the Lost Souls

"The seas churn and the demons and the villanous monsters will roar, but we will survive. When we work together, there is nothing we can't do. With Regnoth we will outrun every trouble to see the next dawn."
  • Ilardan the Forgotten
  • Demographics

The population of the Isle for the Lost Souls consists of wanderers and hopeless people who have happenedto meet up with the Isle in their journeys. Every one is allowed to stay as long as they agre to uphold the rules of the society.

    Government

The Isle for the Lost Souls is governed by Ilardan the Forgotten, an old kuo-toa. He is the one who sees that everyone is taken care of. It is also his responsibility to negotiate with Regnoth, the dragon turtle upon whose back the hamlet has been built.

    Defences

The main defence of the Isle for the Lost Souls is its mobility. When ever a trouble or danger approaches, Regnoth escapes according to Ilardans directions. In the worst case scenario the attackers would face the great dragon turtle itself in the fight, but this is rarely depended on.

    Industry & Trade

The Isle for the Lost Souls is a hunting and gathering society. Every member of the community is expected to participate in fishing and harvesting the kelps and other weeds as the Isle stays in oneplace. Most of the food gathered is offered to Regnoth as a tribute.

    Infrastructure

The hamlet has been built on the back of the old dragon turtle called Regnoth

    Guilds and Factions

The society in the Isle for the Lost Souls is small, but few factions have started to form. All the inhabitats follow orders if Ilardan the Forgotten, but in addition to this most have taken the following of either Suilar Grye, a druid of the Mother, or Faeris Bluestone, a cleric of the Deep Goddes. These two both try to achieve the spiritual leadership of the community. Ilardan has not agreed to follow neither of these gods, and even though these religious differences have caused some minor problems in the community, Ilardan has allowed this to continue.

    History

The community was first founded by Ilardan the Forgotten somewhere around year 953 of 12th Millenia. It was around then when first rumors of moving islandan its inhabitat began to spread in Isles of Dawn. Quite soon the also spread, that those who were oppressed or in need where welcome to live in the Isle for the Lost Souls. Ever since the Isle has moved around the Isles of the Dawn, and those who want are welcome to join its community.

    Architecture

The houses built on top of Regnoth's shell are small and nonedescriptive blocks of stone anchored to the back of the old dragon turtle. Lately more advanced buildings have been added as magic-users have joined the community.
