Tegdylun
The Tegdylun, who were long-established in what is now Lancaster when the Skaldorans arrived on Illiria, are humans who originally came from the transitive plane of Faerie and until recent history were closely tied to the courts of the Sidhe.
Naming Traditions
Feminine names
Genevieve, Thea, Lily, Wyrin, Wren, Lara, and Rose are all popular names.
Masculine names
Arthur, David, Robert, Thorn, Alistair, and Percival are popular names for boys.
Family names
Tegdylun family names are unusual in that they were considered gifts from the fairy nobility, back when the first of the Tegdylun left the Faerie for Illiria. Such names include Tilgen, Luminos, Swyft, Davidon, and Greymane for current noble houses.

The Tegdylun give significant reverence to the Fae, who they believe to be an ancestor race. They follow the same codes of chivalry and honor present in Sidhe courts, and observe similar respect to knights and nobility.
