The House of Juviar

House Juviar is a minor noble family of Lancaster, sworn bannermen of House Davidon. They are tasked with ruling over The Wylderwood, which they do from The Hunting House in Albion. Their banner is a black archer on a field of forest green. Along with Houses Thorne and Tilgen, House Juviar served The Stag King of the Sidhe before the Tegdylun migration to the Material Plane. To this day, the Juviar practice rites of ritual hunt and sacrifice to appease the Stag King despite having converted to the Cult of the Fifteen. Despite being a small House of little influence, many powerful Lancaster lords attend this yearly hunt as a way to pay tribute to the Sidhe. The Juviar do not pass titles to their oldest children, rather the title Marquis of the Wylderwood and ownership of The Hunting House is chosen by a familial council when the current Marquis dies, and as such there is no "main branch" of the family. As a result of this practice, not many powerful families are willing to marry into it, and the blood of foreign lords and commoners both flow strongly in the veins of Juviar.
