Infantry Bipod
The Infantry Bipod is a Strider of Confederate design. It is a two-legged Strider that supports a box-like platform for a small firing crew. It is exclusively designed for the event of an Imperial invasion as a countermeasure to the effectiveness of Imperial mechanized legions.
Power Generation
A series of mana batteries are connected to a central armored engine.
Propulsion
As a bipod Strider, the Infantry Bipod moves by simulating a walking motion from one leg to another.
Weapons & Armament
Infantry Bipods are designed for battle against other Striders. They are equipped with a turret-mounted arcane cannon and it's firing crews carry tanglefoot bags. At the risk of destabilizing the Strider's balance, the Infantry Bipod is capable of rapidly opening it's box platform to strike at enemy Striders with razor-edged corners.
Armor and defense
The box platform is heavily armored to protect the firing crew and mana battery engines within. The legs are studded with round iron protrusions designed to deflect melee Strider weaponry.
Communication Tools & Systems
Infantry Bipod crews include a designated signaler, who waves different flags to relay information to other Striders in any given Confederate mechanized unit. Emergency flares are standard issue as well.
