Ultramarine

Ultramarine is one of the five surviving Iron Giants, initially commissioned while Kuasta was the capital province of the First Empire. When the Broken Empires era arrived, Ultramarine ended up in the hands of the fledgling independent Kingdom of Kuasta, now the Merchant's Republic. It is maintained exclusively by the Kuastan Company but is the sole property of the Crown, and may only be piloted by Kuastan nobles not affiliated with the Company in any way, and take an additional oath to the Crown.    Not the tallest, the fastest, or the most deadly or the surviving Giants, Ultramarine is the single most durable piece of magitech left in existence. Adamantine chassis and enchanted decorations protect it from almost every mundane source of damage. The golden paint that covers it (in a style of resembling fashion among Coppershore sailors off duty) is actually made of gold dust, noqual shavings, and an oil base derived from the bones of the last known Tarrasque. It is immediately recognizeable for the lack of symbols, extraneous decorations, or anything else to help it stand out- all the marine needs is its ostentatious design and aggressively expensive appearance.    While it now mostly serves as a mobile lighthouse and protector of the Coppershore docks, it was initially constructed during the Dragon Wars as a counter to draconic magic. It is known to have single-gunnedly destroyed an entire army of younger blue dragons while being piloted by one of Emperor Skaldor's wife-generals, at the time the Blade Kaiju. Since the founding of Kuasta's republic it has been deployed only a handful of times, and in the modern age it has dueled the Confederacy's Dusk Maiden thrice, with notably no winner each time but no damage inflicted on the marine at all.

Power Generation

Ultramarine is fueled by a single oversized mana battery linked to multiple elemental forges. The better the forges burn, the less magic required to run the battery. When the gun is active, power from the forges is routed to the gun and the mech requires full mana.

Propulsion

Ultramarine moves exclusively on its two humanoid style legs. It can walk at a steady pace of sixty miles per hour. Unlike other giants, it is built with deployable floats that allow it to swim. At top speed and full energy generation, it can sprint five times faster than it walks, but doing so disables the swimming ability and the gun for at least an hour after the fact.

Weapons & Armament

Equipped with a rapier and a cannon, Ultramarine is built to mimic the fighting style of Kuastan dons and capos, all elegant movement with the blade and deadly flourishes with the cannon which mimics a Kuastan officer's pistol. The cannon has four barrels and can alternate between devastating scattershot and a single massive ball of iron. When relying on the sword, Ultramarine's pilot uses its enchanted leather greatcoat to tie up enemy mechblades.

Armor and defense

Ultramarine is the only giant built almost entirely out of adamantine, rendering it nearly impossible to damage without magic. In addition, its leather longcoat and hat are enchanted to resist elemental and magical damage. The "feather" is actually a series of metal filaments designed to attract hostile magic to the hat. Coincidentally it also functions as a lightning rod.

Communication Tools & Systems

No enchanted mechanisms help the pilots of Ultramarine communicate with the outside world. Instead, a series of tubes function like a megaphone.

Sensors

A scrying stone is hidden on the each side of the mech's head, which connects to enchanted maps in the pilot's station.
