Shemons, Border Guard of Nehalenor
Nehalenor's Border Guard is one of the best-trained and equipped among Utea armies, in serving the Vale. Its members come from the tribes voluntarily. Young hunters already know how to handle their weapons and know themselves in the forest by the time they join. They are classified into teams of mixed birth - from different tribes. The team will be their new family. In each case, the teams are led by a veteran captain and consist of twelve people. Its members include a priestess or druid who serves as second-in-command.
Members of the Shemons cannot start a family during their service, as they would not be able to provide for it. Only adult Narmiron elves can join who either have no family or whose children are already anointed hunters, i.e. independent adults. If their equipment is inadequate or incomplete, the organization provides them with everything.
The troops constantly travel the borders, forests, mountains, and ocean coast. Few dare to lay a finger on them, but occasionally someone slips through this line of defense. In this case, Shemons also hunts outsiders deep in the Valley.

The tattoo sometimes includes their tribal tattoo, which they got during/after the coming-of-age ceremony. These three symbols represent the Valley itself, which they swear to protect.
