saladin was a regular sized man. he grew a stubbly bread and his fair was kept in a neat bun. he often wore Armour on his person to give him the image of power.

Personal history

Early life- born 748YBCW saladin was the only son of his father the 61 year old sultan Orhan 1st. he grew up in the hall of the great Mohammabad palace. at a young age he took to liking fighting and learned how to use a sword. he took interest in politics as well which was helped by his mother. he was a handsome youth loved by the ladies of the court for his charm and wit unlike his stern father. he was put into the army at the age of 15 and was made govoner of mendara at 16. when in the northern continent he would visit the frontier and there he would met the beautiful 18 year old Sofia Antivic. the two became close and after he saved her when there patrol was attacked on the frontier they began a relationship.
early reign as sultan- at the age of 17 saladin became sultan emperor saladin 1st. his fathers reign however had many enemy. in the southern continent the omongans were reading for war and were asking for help from the republic of san antonia. the Briganaies were also testing his power and had been during the end of his father reign. so he decided to take action. he gathered funds to build an army. he first marched south to deal with the problematic omogans who were getting arms from san antonia. after a two week siege of the capital khasaka the omongans surrendered. he then marched home celebrated his 18th birthday and then took a ship to the northern continent where his loyal lords were defending against an insurrection in The Pashalik of brigrannea. he gathered an army of 5000 men and marched north. the capital of vandara fell without a fight and the leadership of the rebellion were executed by the sultan himself with his own executors scimitar. for this he earned the name the hammer of judgment.
lead up to war with frank- at the age of 19 729YBCW he saladin married Sofia antivic. after putting down the two rebellion the sultan wanted to expand his nations boarders. he looked north of the catlan mountains to frank. he began to gather his forces but he knew he would have a difficult task gathering a force at the catlan mountains which were unofficial controlled by Antroians. while gathering his force he started diplomatic relations with the verianberg empire and it ruler Stephan the mighty. the two young leaders who were mistrusted by there older advisors began a friendship. luckily for saladin Stephan had no interest in frank. to secure there alliance saladin was promised Stephan second child as a ward. Saladin's policies were towards keeping money in his coffers and gathering his forces. what money he could spare was spent on building better position north and south of the catlan mountains. the month before his 20th birthday he appointed his brother in law Josef antivic the lord of likij as his justicar and appointed his childhood friend the 19 year old Andrew azroves son of the duke of losita his lord high admiral and lord of the sea. in Castilian he gathered a force of 50000 men. his army included 45 war elephants from the southern continent.

war in frank and the call of jihad- Saladin marched his army into southern flank in early march. saladin had called a jihad saying his empire would become stronger through struggle. he also justified it as he believed he needed to purge the unbelievers of The kingdom of Frank. the justification for war was that Castilian troops had frond Antroians with frankish made spears and sword. his plan was to lead a force of 12000 with most of the war elephants on the only part of the boarder not guarded by the catlan mountains. his force drove deep north to the boarder with the lorddom of mortjzia. the boy king louis (who was only 6) had little to defend against this invasion. his mother father count andrei marched a host to the coast believing saladin's forces were. saladin riding the war elephant tebri prepared to march on versongettia but winter set in early and he was forced to winter. for the next 2 years saladin held on to his gains until count andri asked for terms. his victory granted him control over all of hos conquered territory. he appointed a collaborator Henry de moraso as duke of faransa.
rule after the war. after conquering southern frank saladin returned to his capital in Mohammabad . He began to build better infrastructure. he built on the 5 cities system. his young court was strong and well liked. 712YBCW when he was 36 his first son by Sofia was born and he was called Caboos. his next son was born 710YBCW and he was called murad. he loved his son equally but Caboos was not like him. he never showed an interest in soldiering but learned how to.
later life- saladin wife died when out hawking when she fell from her horse and hit her head off a rock. she lived on for 3 days after saladin staying by her bed side but she died. 692YBCW he died leaving his 20 year old son Caboos.
