Bermudians

Bermudian is a term used to describe the people who live or are raised aboard the Junkberg Bermuda. They hold a reputation for being amazing engineers and producing some of the most cutting-edge of the technology.

They are sought out with visa programs or contracts, though most often choose not to leave in order preserve their independence.

Being a Bermudian, I am forced to deal with headhunters and scammers at every turn. Pretty much everytime I head to the common halls, I get hounded with advertisements and cards.

I've never taken any of them seriously, I work for myself and no Banner will take a cut of my hard work.

Industrious

Being stranded in a floating pile of technology forces most who live aboard the Bermuda to become at least proficent engineers and technologists. Living away from Banner regulations encourages people to experiment with new ideas.

This combination produces some of the most desirable technologists within the universe. Many Banners will send talent scouts to the Junkberg Bermuda, looking for potential Bermudians to pick up, or new technologies to purchase for their own use.

Independent

Bermudians are seen by the rest of the Universe as fiercely independent, to the point of being troublesome. Talent scouts from Banners are often shamed away, and accepting an offer from one can lead to other Bermudians thinking of them as a 'sell-out'

The numbers of the Bermudians are growing, as the appeal of a banner-less upbringing draws in more and more people. However to become a true 'bermudian' is far more than just coming aboard the Junkberg. If some one is not providing something to whole, they are seen as a liability.

Within the harshess of the wayhall, liabilities tend not to last long.
