Industry & Trade

Working in local or national government is an important industry in Brightmoon. It is home to many representatives from across Etheria.    Retail and trade are common industries, as well as the arts and entertainment.

Infrastructure

The center of Bright Moon is Bright Moon City in the region of Lunia. This central area connects Bright Moon to the rest of Etheria through the West Road, which runs west to the city of Elberon, Bright Moon's largest port.    The East Road runs north of Bright Moon City and connects the kingdom to Dryl and Geolon.

Districts

Bright Moon is comprised of four regions: Lunia, Wayren, Crysium, and Tycho
Lunia
Lunia is the central region of Bright Moon, home to Bright Moon City. While geographically the smallest region, it has the most densely populated areas of Bright Moon, specifically Brightmoon Castle. The region is known for it's shops, the Brightmoon Theater, and the headquarters for many of Bright Moon's largest companies. The region is also home to Bright Bay. Lunia is the only region to border all the other regions of Bright Moon.

Crysium

Crysium is the western region of Bright Moon. It borders Plumeria to the North, Salineas to the south, and the Primeval Ocean to the west. All of Etheria's roads run through Crysium, making it a region of cultural, social, and ethnic diversity. Villages in Crysium have large inns equipped to handle the many travelers passing through on the West RoadNorth Road, South Road, or East Road  The largest city in Crysium is the city of Elberon, the largest port in Etheria.

Tycho

Tycho is the southern region of Bright Moon. Bordering Lunia, the region of Wayren and the Whispering Woods, as well as Bright Bay, Tycho is the source of many of Bright Moon's resources, especially lumber and clay.    Tycho's largest city, Thaymor, was destroyed during the Horde Wars. The city is rebuilding, but in the meantime, the population of the kingdom is limited to smaller villages spread along the woods that make up the region.

Wayren

The region of Wayren is in the southern end of the Whispering Woods. It shares it's borders with the region of Lunia as well as the Crimson Waste, and not far from the Fright Zone  Wayren was once home to many woods-filled farming villages, protected by the natural barrier of the Whispering Woods  and it's magic. During the Horde Wars, many of these villages faced destruction and are struggling to rebuild.

Founding Era

Bright Moon City is the oldest still standing settlement of Bright Moon, dating back to the Founding Era. At the start of the Founding Era, the land that now makes up Bright Moon City was most likely deserted. Queen Celestia arrived in the area leading a group of people fleeing from famine in the Rocky Mountains. Using the magic from the Moonstone, Queen Celestia began to found the kingdom that would become Bright Moon in 56 KE. The city of Brightmoon grew in population until around 224 KE. Pirate raids came in through Bright Bay, and people began to move west into the area known as Crysium today.
