Dryl

Dryl is a small mining and technology development kingdom located in the mountains just north of the Whispering Woods, placing it nearby Brightmoon, the Crimson Waste, and the Fright Zone. It is one of the smallest kingdoms, both in terms of size and population.

History

Princess Entrapta has ruled the kingdom distantly for many years. Very few see her or interact with her, as she mostly spent her time at the Crypto Castle. In early 2020, Dryl was occupied by the Horde after Princess Entrapta formally joined. Dryl's occupation wasn't too harsh compared to their treatment of other kingdoms. They maintained control, routed supplies straight to themselves, and took a lot of technology from the city. The rules were stricter, citizen curfews, and things like that. The punishments were harsher. Horde soldiers weren't afraid to get violent to anyone standing up to them. In January of 2021, the Horde got a tip that a smuggler with the Rebellion was operating out of a town about a days travel out from the capital, and in a show of force, levelled a district with artillery fire to get them. Luckily the village was tipped off and with the help of a rebel team, they were able to evacuate most of the inhabitants. Horde Prime arrived in May of 2021 and began attacking the city. In Late August, people began getting chipped. Prime was defeated by the Rebellion in November of 2021.
