Queen Celestia was the founder and first ruler of Bright Moon. She ruled until her death in 230 KE, and was succeeded by her daughter, Queen Lunia. Queen Celestia is often associated with images of a crescent moon.

Personal history
Celestia was born in 24 KE, the first born to her mothers. She grew up in the lands now known as Geolon.
When Celestia was thirty two years old, her home was struck with famine. She lead a group of people across Etheria, until they reached the land today known as Bright Moon. When they found the Moonstone, Celestia found strength in her magic from it. With her power, she helped people to settle the land.
In 60 KE, the settlement was officially founded, and became known as Bright Moon. Celestia was named Queen. She worked with her people to come with the first set of laws and rules, which she was determined would not oppress the weak, but would balance justice for all who needed it. She declared Bright Moon to be "A Land of Light".
Celestia married Serella in 118 KE. In 123, their daughter, Lunia, was born.
In 124 KE, Celestia started construction on the Chamber of Queens.
Celestia responded to quarrels between in 229 KE. In 230 KE, she was killed in one of the smaller battles at the border. She was succeeded by her daughter, Lunia.
Legacy
A statue of Queen Celestia, built in 315 KE, lives on the east road just north of Bright Moon, near the Whispering Woods. There is also a stone carving of her in the Chamber of Queens, but that is not open to the public.Reign
