Morvagr

Morvargr is a town nestled along the Lower Indel River. To the north of Town lies the Beast of Indel, a giant stone statue dedicated to a battle between the Beast and Indel himself.

Districts

  1. Historic Morvagr: The historic center of Morvagr and home to houses almost as old as it's creation. It is home to Morvagr's 7 noble families, and many of the town's mercantile business.
  2. South Ward: The middle-class district where tradesman work and sell their wares.
  3. Fort Storm-Sky: The home of the Lendman of Morvagr. It is said to be the original home of Morvagr the Ice-Skald and is still home to his clan, known as Clan Strunlokkest.
  4. East Ward: A lower-class district found outside of the walls of Morvagr. It is home to many taverns and inns, but most of its residents are herders. There is also an extensive meat market found here.
  5. Hofri's Bridge: A lower-class district cloistered around a bride just south of the walls of Morvagr. It is home mostly to farmers.
  6. Wolfsbolgen (Wolf's Arch/Gate): This district lies along the southern portion of the road leading to Jorundarja. It's main inhabitants are Wolfengarde.

Points of interest

  1. Hill of Heroes: A large cemetery that lies in the center of town. Most of those buried here are those who fell in battle.
  2. Beast of Indel: A massive statue depicting the battle between Indel the Explorer and a true dragon simply known as the Beast of Indel. It sits just on the precipice of the Indel Fjord, where the battle was supposed to have taken place. Recent studies suggest that the dragon may have been the dragon Numiboruus, a "Dragon God" of Ice and the supposed ancestor of the Polar Draconodonts.
