Indel Plain, Hold

The Indel Plains are the central focus of Indeljar, and contain sprawling fields free of ice and snow during warmer months. Its fertile fields are full of activity, from farmers and herders, to wild herds of Mammoth, Wooly Antelope, and Wooly Rhinos. Its capital is the city of Jorundarja, which is also the Capital City of Indeljar. The Indel Plain is bordered by the Bay of Hope to the North, the Lake of Arctus to the south, the Rothedomic Boreal to the west and the Harmere Tundra to the east.

Geography

Land Features
  • Upper and Lower Indel River: The second-longest river of Indeljar, but the most trafficked. 
  • Lake of Arctus: The largest lake in Indeljar, and believed to hide the lair the the Ice Progenitor Dragon.
  • Indel Fjord: A Fjord surrounding the lowest part of the Indel River and a favored home of many drake and Tizherukid species.
  • Bay of Hope: The bay dominating most of the northern shore of Indeljar.
