The one that wields the world

Among the last of the seven titanframes to be constructed, Malleus is an impressive feat of engineering and ingenuity, featuring a completely unique ability to control geometrite's state of matter. Malleus utilizes this ability by shaping weapons and walls composed of the material, though clever pilots can do much more. Inventive and quick-witted pilots are best suited to this titanframe, as Malleus is only as effective and powerful as the person piloting it. Malleus presents no pattern of favoritism or tendencies, much like Maxilla, but the high level of skill required to master it leaves a narrow margin for eligible pilots. - The Annals of Catalyst II (Revised)

Summary

Malleus was the fifth titanframe to be completed, preceded by Cargo and followed by Bestia. Its construction began at the same time as Colossus III, however the latter titanframe would not be completed for many more years after Malleus' completion. Though structurally Malleus resembles a common strider unit, this titanframe is set apart by a unique ability - control over the states of matter of geometrite, the material making up the titanframe's core geometrid. This is accomplished by Malleus' ambitious internal construction and the composition of the geometrid itself; much of its mass exists as energy enveloping the core and the titanframe itself, and it is this energy a pilot utilizes and transforms to serve any purpose.
