Colossus III

The behemoth that towers above

The greatest titan of them all, a true behemoth among its peers, Colossus III was the final Titanframe to see completion; no others would succeed it. Though every Titanframe is unique, this one is perhaps the most different from the rest; as opposed to a single geometrite core, it boasts a polyform harmonic network of three: Eos, Astreus, and Eosphorus. It is their combined strength that holds the enormity of Colossus III together; without them, this mighty Titanframe could never hold its shape. Due to its late integration into the Paradisian forces, far fewer pilots have taken the helm of this Titanframe, and thus the influential feedback loop of past pilots' imprints within the Titanframe is significantly reduced. - The Annals of Catalyst II (Revised)

Summary

The eighth and final Titanframe, Colossus III is a strider unit unlike any other. At a hundred meters from head to toe, this massive war machine is the pinnacle of Paradisian might, the ultimate display of mastery over technology and warfare. However, Colossus III saw very little true combat, remaining more a symbol than a weapon after its creation. Most of its deployments were intended to subdue enemy forces through sheer intimidation, and it wasn't until the later civil wars with Marley that any of its pilots actually engaged in real combat. Primarily, Paradise United utilized it to neutralize air units or to destroy fortifications, as its lack of maneuverability made it ill suited to combat with other types of Strider Units.   Though relatively few have piloted Colossus III, therefore leaving a fainter impression on the Titanframe's geometrid core, it still demands a certain kind of person to truly master it. Only those with superior spacial awareness, a mind suited to understanding complexities, and the ability to think outside of the box under pressure can fully utilize the awesome power of Colossus III. The Titanframe is something of a relic from a generation that understood the vastness of space, and how limitless the power of the geometrids truly is. Only by letting go of the concept of weight and limitation can a pilot harness Colossus III's vast potential.   [Creation] The design and construction of Colossus III was by far the most audacious of any Titanframe. Conceived by one of the original passengers of the passenger vessel Paradise, the massive Titanframe demanded copious amounts of material in order satisfy the original design's needs, starting with the immense frame.
