History:

Red Ward is practically an institution. They have been a reliable shipping company since the Red Commission, they were used back then not only to transport goods and materials but to provide safe passage for those commissioned. Profiting greatly from the Red Commission the Wards became a family of great means.
One drawback of their rise to power was the negative perception from the Dwarven people.  Though few will say it out loud there is a deep seeded animosity towards the Wards for the wards. For this reason, Red Ward was founded in Nin as Mithrigal was exceedingly hostile toward them. However, in recent years they have attempted to rehab their image returning to Mithrigal and started the Black Ward Supplies & Lodging.

Ownership:

Rissen Ward, the current owner and father to Cordelia Ward (of Black Ward Supplies & Lodging ) and Kazik Ward (of Blue Ward Shipwrights) has managed the company since his father retired.
Whereas the Wards that came before him focused on Dwarven territory, expansion has been his only goal. The Black and Blue Ward being subsidiaries of his company he has his eyes on other businesses to expand his empire.
