Eytelania (EY-teh-lAH-nee-ah)
Guardian of Journeys
Wife of Maroth, she makes up for his lack of interaction with the mortal planes by watching over them obsessively, caring immensely for the pursuits of mortals and their journeys. She is a welcome deity for any travellers and it is not unusual for mortals to give a symbol of Eytelania as a token of good fortune when one embarks on the start of a journey. She, in contrast to Maroth, is the God who has spent the most time in the mortal plane- almost always appearing as a giant eagle, she has made her way into much folklore and legend. This, however, meant she has suffered greatly during the War of the Gods, losing much of her power.
