Wishlings are red, purple, or blue skinned humanoids, who have horns and a single, jewel-like eye in the enter of their forehead. Once insular and secretive, it was the wishlings pursuit of Kaijin towards northern lands that brought them once again onto the world stage. They are prominent monster hunters and warriors, and have a knack for knowing the truth of things, that they attribute to their third eye.
The first Wishlings to have travelled outside of Harshhorne rarely settled down in other kingdoms. This was due to the stigma Wishlings had because of their wild appearance. Recently this stigma has subsided due to the deeds Wishlings accomplished to help the weak and less fortunate, as well as being hired out as monster hunters after the Kaijen migration into the north. Most Wishlings who have grown up outside of Harshhorne are instructed to return and complete the Ambitus Sojourn so that they "awaken their true path".
Recently, due to their alliance with the Djinn Caravan known as Boreal-Lurin Bazaar, more Wishlings have started to travel forth into other lands bringing with them their peoples' knowledge of engineering and the sciences. Kingdoms like Alfar have sought to trade in knowledge while kingdoms such as Kingdom of Draioch wish to trade in monster hunting techniques and engineering. Though they have become more welcome in most kingdoms, due to the Day’s War with Zenith, Wishlings remain discouraged from entering the Kingdom of Zenith to this day.
