Hus aef Sigg

Legendary hero said to have led the Siggs into Ettrea during the War of the Elves and the Giants . Tradition holds that Hus refused to serve Emperor Ishbahel and instead led his people to the land now named after them - Sigsland. However, Hus did not remain with his people. Some accounts say that he headed east, across the Black River into Viltland (some of the more fanciful accounts it must be said), others that he settled in Vesterland (the kings of Vesterland claim descent from him) and others that he travelled to Synoppeia (the personal guard of the Synoppeian Emperor is known as the Hussian Guard even though Hus, even if he did exist, would have been dead long before the founding of the Synoppeian Empire).
