Ushnabroc

Ushnabroc is the god of tricks and thieves. Because of his chaotic evil nature, he is often considered by purists many as the mistake among the gods, incidentally being very close to the The first Higher Ones through his similarity to them. However, the vastness and the nature of his domain, arguably the very reason for his evil nature, makes him one of the most powerful gods to have ever existed, ruse and trickery being essential when it comes to acquiring power. As such, Ushnabroc has many venerators everywhere and in all social standings.
As soon as the First Pantheon and The first Higher Ones were created resulting from Ragdafuria, goddess of order's and Avall'uch, Incarnation of chaos's fusion, Ushnabroc was an outcast among his peers and quickly entered communication and negociations with the other side. Though the chaos he represented seemed interesting tho the Higher Ones, his divine nature always made them weary of him. As such, the god of tricks was an outcast from both sides, but his exceptional ruse did not keep him as such for long. Over the eons of alternating war and piece between the two factions, Ushnabroc offered his service to both gods and Higher Ones as a spy and informant, to the great dismay of his brother Effneki, the leader of the first Pantheon. To protect himself from the reprimands of all others, Ushnabroc created the Feywild and many other small planes to jump between, making them to his pleasing and at the image of his own trickery. Finally, when the time came forEffneki to set his trap and start a second fusion, Ushnabroc did not answer the call, knowing full well it would mean the disappearance of his consciousness, preferring to stay at a safe distance and observe. What ensued after a great battle however changed the fabric of the universe to its core, leaving no place for Ushnabroc to go. In his final desperate attempt to save his consciousness, it is said that he wove part of himself into the essence of the Feywild itself, thus making the plane intimately related to the material plane and offering flickering passages between the two. Eventually, being part of an abstract and flickering essence such as that of the feywild, Ushnabroc is believed to have stopped thinking, but it is never certain that he ever really died. As such, trickery and ruse, as well as thieves and charlatans, backstabbers and impostors, are some of the most powerful concepts and people in the universe, their god being naught reduced to a mere abstract concept like his other first pantheon peers, but some scholars theorize that the fact that Ushnabroc's consciousness ceased to exist the moment that Lugh, god of arts and commerce, with a similar hedonistic nature, appeared.
