• Office of the Reeve of Matlock, run by Randal Thormond (male human).
• The Deaf Hound Tavern, run by Grimsly Barker (male half-orc). Also on staff are: Obren Alepike (male dwarf, cook), Wally Wenkins (male human, kitchen and stable help, missing!), Mindy 'the Minx' Willowstep (female halfling, entertainer).

Of note, Wally Wenkins is missing.
