Francine
Scholar of Light (a.k.a. Frannie)
Francine is a goddess apart of the Divine Sages. She carries herself with an aura of calm confidence, where she often speaks in thoughtful tones. Her words come with subtle sarcasm or sharp wit, which she can always think of right on the fly. Though reserved and enigmatic, she shows an undeniable beauty, and her loyalty to those she cares about is undying. Beneath her composed outside is a deep well of emotion, guarded very closely. Once she shows this emotion, however, she becomes one of the most affectionate goddesses one has ever met in their life.
Francine is the goddess of light and holiness, which is why paladins are typically associated with her under her sect of the Divine Light. This also plays into her sect practicing a lot of healing magic, ad Francine is well known for being an outstanding white mage. Even without her healing, she is capable of using black magic to do damage to foes and keep them pressured and in long distance. She uses a grimoire for her weapon, something that she inspired Rinvel to have when she got older and was on her own.

It has since been lost to time, and no one is aware of its whereabouts.

Divine Goals & Aspirations
The goal of Francine's sect is to become studious scholars that pursue knowledge and following the light of the Divines and to give that faith to the other followers in the Divine religion, and possibly to people who may be interested.
Physical Description
Body Features
Francine is well defined for her long, raven black hair by its super silky look, and her bangs covering up the right side of her face. She also has a beauty mark on her chin, which is said to pass down to her descendants easily.
The most defined feature is, well, Francine's chest. She's well known as having the biggest breasts out of the Divine women and especially on Eon, with making some effort to bind them back to be respectable.
She's also very curvaceous, something that people have humored as being passed down to elves.
She has a large Vocem-coded tattoo that runs down from the top of her neck to her back, which reads "Singing Light, Praise Me".
Special abilities
Francine is referred to as the goddess of light, owing to the angelic theme her followers have given her and believe in. This gives Francine a dangerous edge in her capacity in abilities and magic use.
For one, Francine is able to make very powerful buffs and strong regenerative magic capable of healing people in an instance without the worry of killing them by healing them too quick from Eon's magic traits. Buff spells such as elemental immunity, resistance against all damages, and even nullifying damage outright is just a few of the many abilities she has access to. Her defensive skills are nothing to scoff at, and she's designated as the Divine's grey mage for being able to take and dish out damage using both black arts and white arts.
Her black arts skills are just as powerful as her white arts skills, some saying they're even stronger. Being able to shapeshift her grimoire into a whip sword, she can use holy magic to cut through darkness and void-afflicted beings with grace and ease. She can even create arrows of light that come from the way to whips her weapon. Though she does prefer to buff up her teammates in battle, she can hold her own and her being able to weaponize healing magic is what inspired the creations of monks and nuns in their own right.
Apparel & Accessories
Because Francine was worshipped as the angel of light, her whole motif in clothing is centered purely on gun metal greys, and whites. White leather or latex usually is what her main outfit comprises of, made from bending light around her and constructing it into clothes.
Specialized Equipment
Like all the other Divines, Francine has a weapon that is associated with her, and she uses based on the beliefs of her followers fueling her. A grimoire constructed lovingly by Zioda, Francine affectionately calls it the Enchiridion. Full of powerful magicks and knowledge that have been given to her by various lightwardens and voidseeds, the book is Francine's ultimate asset and what she uses for chants and spells to create powerful moves to assist her, both inside and outside of battle.
This book is also only openable through Francine - it will refuse to open for anyone else, unless Francine has given them the ability to access it. This is supposed to protect both the person and the book, as the knowledge in the book is said to drive a mortal completely insane.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Francine was born in Alfheim finding herself naked and stumbling out of a large holding of ljósánite. She didn't know who she was but she gave herself her own name and thought of herself as protector of the realm. Over time, she began to feel loneliness and sought to find other people around her who she could become family with. The success of finding new family made her excited, and with the making of Opeitos, Coraxol, Ursula and Zioda, the 5 of them became the Divine Sages. She then returned to her home realm and began to craft beings into existence by using the diamond she had awaken from; a few of them being overworld elves and underworld elves.
Her natural curiosity led Francine to not only being with her family but exploring other dimensions and seeing what else awaited the gods. Supposedly, they even interacted with ancient species of the ones currently existing on Eon. It's documented there was something far closer in relations with the Divines and mortals. Unfortunatel a lot of information was lost regarding said interactions, and it will probably take a while to uncover this. But Francine is certainly one of the goddesses shown to be very loving and extroverted, even more so than her other Divines.
Early on, Francine was in a relationship with a Lightwarden warrior, who sired Nandipha as they got deeper in the relationship. Even with Nani being an accident did nothing to stop Francine from falling in love with her hard and officially becoming an beautiful family. Unfortunately, Nani's father had his life taken from a voidseed in a skirmish. While Nandipha voewed to seek revenge, Francine slowly began her descent into a cold exterior to shield her and her daughter from the world.
The tragedies didn't end there. Ragnarok erupted suddenly, with all 9 realms in an epic battle of proportions. The voidseeds were now showing themselves face to face with the Divines and their protected species. They made it very simple that the planet would become theirs. Francine was front and center in this conflict, shedding angry tears remembering her husband not coming back home in one piece. The war lasted for a very long while, and the Divines came out on top victorious, but without any trauma from the deaths of many Divine children, the loss of worshippers protecting their own families and others, and especially losing Nandipha to the same voidseed general that took her husband. All of this caused devastationFrancine had never experienced before. It was the final nail in the coffin to her ever being her more vivacious, optimistic self. Francine was even mute for a while until the others had opened up about their own feelings altogether. It was then that Francine finally broke down and grieved healthily for the loss of her family, especially losing her daughter. But she felt so proud of her deceased daughter for proving herself the strongest warrior in the war.
After Ragnarok, Francine didn't expect for Nandipha to be revived and as the goddess of death. This made it impossible for them to visit unless winter would fall on Midgard, but she did not complain over the circumstances. Anything to see her baby girl once more.
Later on, Francine attempted a relationship with another Lightwarden and gave birth to his children, the Sin Eaters. Her heart was broken when it came out he was cheating on her as well as his wife he was with. It broke Francine's trust and even to this day its hard for her to be in a romantic relationship because of fear of betrayal or losing them.
Gender Identity
Francine identifies as female. Though she can shapeshift like her other Divine members, she chooses not to, content with her body.
Sexuality
Francine is bisexual, with more of a heavy preference on men.
Education
Francine is not mortal, which has her education and knowledge on the workings of life and things surrounding the higher plane at an astronomical level. Her curiosity makes her prime in studying topics and researching anything she may not know with zealous enthusiasm. Her wisdom in all areas possible is what makes her a prime goddess to ask for advice or information on a topic. Added on with her stoic nature, it makes her advice the most neutral with no bias, resulting in her advice being the most sound as well. Francine likes to mostly go on with her healing knowledge and capabilities, due to light magic being the biggest and heaviest influence on healing. Her education came from a curiosity she had with Coraxol, and the both of them studied very frequently.
Employment
All the Divine Sages have a disguise to hide their celestial energy and be among mortals without garnering too much attention. Under her mortal disguise, Francine keeps her name but takes on the last name of Guillory.
Francine is actually queen of Abilon, becoming ruler through an election after gaining her life back from leaving Eon for over 1,000 years. She used to be their heavenly queen for many, many years, and it felt amazing to be back in her own shoes.
Some people are aware that it is Francine herself as the queen, while others are in disbelief and outright don't believe the Divines exist at all. It doesn't irritate her or harm her that they have this - it makes her job easier.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Managed to heal over 250,000 people personally in her life time thus far.
- Stopped a voidseed invasion with the assistance of her Divine pantheon. She lost many of her children in it, however.
- One of the Divines with the most kids, easily reaching into the mid 1,000s.
Mental Trauma
Like other Divines, Francine has gone through a lot of trauma that has resulted in her being very closed off to individuals around her. Though she tries to be open to her family as best as she can, not wanting bitterness to take her over too far, she still has a lot of layers compared to the other women.
As such, Francine has gone through:
- Her right eye being scratched out, from the Great Voidseed War. While she still has it, she's fully blind in the eye and has a huge scar covering a good portion of the right side of her face
- Along with Frannie surviving the way with her side clawed up and her scratched out, she stumbled upon Nandipha dying on the battlefield. She cradled Nani in her arms and sang her a lullaby as she slowly slipped away from consciousness and died. That memory of the war is the most haunting, and she has had reoccurring nightmares from it.
- She has some scars on her back from the same Voidseed attack, as well. She has some PTSD from the attack but thankfully, it's gotten better.
- Seeing her priests die in front of her to protect her and her religion sect(separate battles, not counting Ragnarok)
Morality & Philosophy
Francine believes that a life without wisdom is ignorance in fatal bliss. Individuals should at least be given the choice to higher education, and everybody deserves to have it in order to make life better for themselves, or be enlightened. Her teachings heavily focus on that, which makes sense considering Francine is one of, if not the, smartest Divine woman.
Her view on life is hrsbilu pessimistic. She understands that life has to come to an end at some point, even with someone possibly immortal. This degree of thinking makes some of her worshippers have a close connection to Nandipha's sect. Denying life in Francine's eyes is harmful, and doesn't do any good to an individual. That kind of bitterness is what leads people to becoming revenants and that's something she whole heartedly despises. Many people's children, parents or family in general became revenants from the war. She shares this belief with Nandipha, who inspired her to feel appreciative. The pessimissim is something she's trying to break through to her mother, though.
But it's not all doom and gloom for Francine. Accepting death and negativity is what brings a wellspring of hope and positivity, and allows for someone to live their life to the fullest. Nandipha not only teaches that herself, but her death taught that right from the beginning.

Social Aptitude
Francine is a very gracious woman and has the elegance of a queen even with her walk. She refuses to look down on others, even if they haven't won her trust or respect, and speaks with the polite fortitude fit for a goddess. She self-identifies as being more introverted, preferring to bury her nose in a book to avoid talking with people she's not familiar with, but she is still able to hold a conversation with a person, especially on magically inclined topics. Her charisma charms quite a few people, with her body and physical appearance owing further to that.
Hobbies & Pets
Francine is a very studious woman and takes pleasure in collecting books and reading, something that she shares with Delta and has bonded with her quite a bit on. Books are a source of knowledge, and being viewed as sacred in Francine's sect, it'd make sense as to why with her huge love for collecting them, reading and even trading knowledge or secrets with others who would want to know. She also loves writing in her spare time, both with writing fiction and non-fiction material.
Besides reading, Francine also loves fencing and will take the time to train with fencing when she can. Being able to turn her halo into a fencing sword for quick combat if the Enchiridion is unavailable has made Francine an amazing grey mage. This is an old hobby though, as Francine's interest in fencing started even before Nani was born, and became necessary for the war.
Relationships
History
Francine and Ursula represent each other as opposites and counterparts. While some sects of the Divine religion write them off as not needing one another, they represent the integral balance of both harmony and chaos, and having too much of one thing is a bad thing. This has made the two of them well respected best friends that feel like they could come to one another for any problem and have a solution for it.
