The Dreamer of Dreams

Rin is the goddess of sleep, dreams, wishes and destiny and appears to people in their dreams or visits them at night in order to engage with them and have the possibility of the creation of a pact. While her mother, Coraxol, is much more well known with having temples forged in her name for worship, Rin is not a well known goddess and some people don't even regard her as a Divine despite the fact that she is. This is caused by two things; One, she refuses to visit "mundane" people; she only visits people she deems interesting. Two, she doesn't make herself well known, as she prefers staying in the realm between realms, which can only be accessed if a person is dreaming her dreams.
As mentioned previously, Coraxol is her mother, with Nyarlathotep being her father. Nyarla tricked Coraxol into sleeping with him by being a little more forceful. Cora didn't mind as she at first loved him, but when he didn't care too much about visiting his daughter and only if Cora would continue to have trysts with him, she barred him from ever being able to see her or Rin ever again. The history of the three is not known at all on Eon, even more less than Rin's own existence. But due to Rin coming from an Elder Voidseed, she herself is also one - which explains her extraordinary power, especially with gaining her mother's reality bending magic.
Rin also has an interesting ability, as all Voidseeds have something unique to them, Rin's is definitely one of a kind as she can use her Arcana skill to not only give fortunes but also create powerful bonds with people, which increases her own power. By this virtue, she is Delta and Fell's patron and the reason the two are so powerful with their abilities.

Rin has many artifacts, with them being scattered across the multiverse and across Eon as well. While it's unknown how many there are in exact number, it's been said that there is a lot of them and can even be overwhelming for a collector if one pursues it.

Physical Description

Body Features

An interesting distinction that Rin has with other Voidseeds is her having two forms - a humanoid form that she takes on normally, then a so called true form, which is so eldritch and horrifying it can cause people to go insane if they cannot resist Voidseeds and their eldritch nature.
Her normal form is when she's 8 feet tall, around the same height of her mother. While she is still extremely short for Voidseed height, her body is still very well developed, with having inherited her mother's Taurvren features very well. Her horns aren't as large, something she prefers as her real horns are massive and feel like a hassle to carry on her head.
Sometimes a glimpse of her real form can be seen when her hair is down to his true length - long, tentacle blond hair fading to a black and ending in demonic snake skulls that can inflict petrification.

Special abilities

Rin's Arcana ability allows her to create bonds with others, and through the Arcana that they have, it allows her to enhance the abilities that are associated with the Arcana. As her own Arcana is associated with the Fool, this allows for Rin to be able to use the power to her own capability, and makes her extremely flexible in battle if possible.
Each Arcana has an association with an elemental type, skill set or something to benefit in battle to the user. Everyone has an Arcana to them, and typically this is found out if the person decides to forge a pact with Rin (and they are thus called the Forged.) The contract is signed by the person as both parties have to give consent in order to bind the pact, and once that's done, the tarot card of the individual is crafted. This tarot card will always be on their person, and at this point, they make take the card out and place it against any size mirror and create a door to visit Rin if they need to. Each individual also inherits unique abilities apart of their arcana if requested, or they may be associated with a specific element depending on the arcana as well.
The Arcana the person forges with Rin then creates an entire Arcana deck for them only - their relationships with other people slowly fill in the spots of the deck, and depending on how close they are to each other, the card may be murky and only showing the figure slightly to being a glowing, bright color representing that arcana. For example, if someone makes a pact with Rin and they're the Lovers Arcana, Rin can accept many other pacts with people who will also be the Lovers Arcana as well, without it ever conflicting. They may even gain the card as a trinket if the person as an inseperable bond, however unlike the pact owner's card, they cannot visit Rin this way. Not one two people have the same pacts, decks and relationships, which makes Rin's ability so interesting and adds even more strength to how she is as an Elder Voidseed.
An example of how this works is Delta. Delta's Arcana is Death, as she represents the ending of relationships but new beginnings of others and the constant sway and change she creates in people's lives. Her card is represented by her solemnly holding a lantern of an ominous skull bellowing green smoke, with a strongly sealed door behind her. This card is always somewhere on her but she chooses to keep it in her bra for convenience. The ability she gained from Rin's pact is dimension hopping - this allows her to travel to any dimension of her choosing by tearing open schisms to visit.
Because of how her relationships are, Catastrophe (her boyfriend) represents the Lovers Arcana, and with the two so heavily bonded, his card is completely bright and glows a dazzling hue undulating between a pretty golden color and a sultry red. She's even given him the card to represent their bond.
Delta's pact with Rin, this means she has her own tarot deck which is slowly being filled by people she reveres, holds close to, and loves. The same can be said about Fell, as he has his own tarot deck thats slowly being filled by people he interacts with and even cares about.

Rin's outfit is constantly changing, and sometimes her hair as well to match with what she's wearing. She doesn't really have a "main" outfit that she decides to stay in (besides the references of her supplied of course), as she likes to switch up her outfits. Having her outfits differentiate day to day or between her warlocks keeps her imagination up, and is something she always looks forward to whenever she sees them. However, she usually sticks to 2 outfits - one is more sexual in nature if the person dreaming of her wants a carnal desire, while the other is more formal and fits her more as a daughter of a Divine.

She also has an affinity for silver, which is common as Voidseeds are usually allergic to the element, and even in some cases have a horrid weakness. Rin is one of these cases.

Personal history

Nobody can say for certain what Rin's history is. Many speculations, rumors and hypotheses have some about what Rin could be, but commonly, people accept that she is Voidseed. While most circles apart of the Divine Light believe that as blaspehmous (with even one notable king completely washing history clean of Rin's mention due to this), people who do believe she is Coraxol's daughter still worship her as such. Sometimes throwing coins into divination pools is a way to ask fortune from either Rin or Ursula, depending on which belief is stronger and who they're thinking of.
On Eon, with many records having been burned, there have been recordings of a little girl, a teenager and a woman (all bearing the appearance of Rin through the ages) having doing pacts and offering "wishes to come true". These writings have been traced back to even thousands of years before the common era, but its a miracle if any of them had survived the mass burning of books that had happened for over 10 years while the Divines went on reprieve from Ragnarok.
Rin herself refuses to divulge in information that provides even a glimpse to her past, even with the Warlocks she bonds with closely to. Even Delta and Fell don't know much about Rin's history and past, only have bits and pieces, and trying to read her mind is suicide due to her being eldritch. But its evident Rin has been at her pact making for several thousands of years, and the grimoire she carries around with her must be full of information regarding this - something she keeps locked away or on her person and making it impossible for others to gain access to.

Rin identifies as a woman. While she can shapeshift as all Voidseeds are capable, she's comfortable as her current gender.

Rin identifies as pansexual, just as most Voidseed are.

Morality & Philosophy

Rin acknowledges that she is a goddess, but at first glance and even talking to her, she doesn't have any of the energy that a goddess may typically have. Her formal speech pattern and almost distant form of chatting may tip someone off that she is otherworldly. Only having her guardian with her most of the time, and him always being by her side may make her seem even intimadating. If the tentacles already don't put a person off.
Her own morality is very gray and ambiguous, with her preferring to watch mortals make their own path to what they believe their philosophy to be. She understands the "black and whites" of what is right and what is wrong, and can see how others can decide that, but how they come to the decision is much more fascinating to her than anything else, which is why she loves forming pacts with people.
Rin is also the type of Voidseed to not look down on mortals for what they decide to do in life - rather, she finds it inspiring as she's remained in her subspace out of safety for not only herself but her mother and the rest of the Divines. She thinks that mortals having morality, philosophy and motivation is what makes them so fascinating, and even better than voidseeds and lightwardens - they're able to carve out a path of their own volition, and it's inspiring to Rin.
Life is worth living for and watching people live it, and arrive to that conclusion is not only exciting but never gets old for her.

Family Ties

• Mephisto - Eldest son. Came from a pact with a heavy worshipper of Rin's who stayed with her for over 500 years. Mephisto does pacts like his mother but his ability differs.
• Arcana - Middle son. Shared Mephisto's father. Arcana has a fortune reading ability using tarot cards, hence his nickname, but his is a different aspect of his mother's.
• Archer - Youngest son. Shared Mephisto and Arcana's father. Unlike his siblings, he doesn't use magic all too much, and prefers to spend his days cooking and feeding his family.
• Atlantea - Middle daughter. Came from the pact with Fell, after she realized she was in love with him. Atlantea is still trying to figure out what she'd like to do with herself, and is dealing with her own sort of crisis.
• Niim - Youngest daughter. Also came from the pact with Fell, with her being far closer to Atlantea's birth unlike the others. She loves painting (and her paintings will come to life if she doesn't seal them) and has a love for horses because of her dad introducing her to them at a young age.
