Clan Caecus
Caecus is the largest clan of the various nomadic tribes roaming Journey's End, numbering an estimated 4 dozen people.
They are renowned for regularly trading with adventurers for both clothes and information, seemingly taking a great interest in the going-ons of the Continents, despite their self-imposed hermitage.
They do not write anything down - in part due to a lack of writing utensils - which means that all their knowledge is transmitted in a purely oral tradition. Various expeditions have been launched in a bid from ambitious kings to get their hands on this valuable information, yet despite the most magnanimous of offers, alongside some threats, none of them was ever willing to leave their island.
That is not to say that there are no records of this happening, however: various folk tales speak of times when these men sailed towards the main continent on small rafts, miraculously arriving there and fulfilling their plans there. Due to the rarity of these events alongside the ghastly look of Far Northerners, the people were very afraid of them and claimed them to commit murders and other crimes, yet none of these accusations were yet to be substentiated.
