I have a lot of images I've saved that I use for inspiration since I have been dreaming up this story/world since I was in middle school. I put some of my favorites here but there are still a ton more stored elsewhere. Sometimes I just see something and it clicks. Unfortunately, I don't know where most of this art comes from. Most are something I saw on social media or from google searches. Still, the ones here are great inspiration for me.
I really enjoy this picture as an idea for how Tia looks, at least when her eyes are brown and hair white. She plays around with her appearance more later on when she can do so freely.

I plan to use this for reference when describing Tia's 'Minx' form while donning her true appearance. The pigmentation of her forms alters to match her hair or skin pigmentation. I feel it will be stunning when I reveal it.

This helps me imagine how Wu Zetian might look when she manifests as her form isn't quite decided on yet. She has really unique magic, much like Longwei, but hers is more visible than his. However this isn't a good representation of her personality.
this image makes me think of Sylthari, as if she is wearing a nebula as a blanket. It takes a lot of different perspectives to keep her truly staggering range of representation. This reminds me of the 'nebula' look within her eyes.
This one is how I originally pictured Tia's mother, Mina. A little more western looking than some of her other inspirations. It definitely captures her eloquence and gentle demeanor.
I actually find it difficult to find good images capturing 'Ithisda's Form' properly! The transparent water still retaining a human shape is hard to find and this helps me picture it better.
