Oksi

(a.k.a. Gas)

Oksi is an aspect of Rylis and a physical aspect. It consists of the mixture of gases that surrounds the earth, made up of various molecules and raw elements (periodic table not magic). These gases are invisible, odorless and tasteless to those not blessed by Oksi to perceive them. It is the counterpart to Gokmar, mineral earth. Both of them have a major connection to the elements of the periodic table, often being able to manipulate them in their pure form.

Racial Manifestations

When Rylis gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation

Able to manipulate gases present in their environment.

Aura

Able to summon or generate a type of gas.

Movement

Able to walk, step or move on or through gases.

Slip

Able to allow their body to interact with physical matter similarly to gases, most matter passing right through them. These materials also behave as if interacting with gas as well.

Eye

Able to see gases present around them and can tell different kinds apart, appearing as different colors.

Sense

Able to feel their environment using gases, feel anything interacting with these gases and sense what kinds of gases are in their environment despite barriers.

Skin

Can produce a kind of gas from their skin and expand this gas around themselves in different shapes.

Touch

Able to increase the amount of oxygen present in someone's blood and muscles via touch, including on themselves.

Will

Can produce gases which amplify the magic of others upon contact or extend this effect into gases already present. Only amplifies light, fire, earth, energy and plant magic.

Breath

Can exhale a kind of gas and can breath despite any environment (underwater, underground, in a void) by breathing air from Oksi's Plane.

Shield

Immune to negative effects and/or damage from all gas magic and naturally occurring gases. Able to breath any kind of gas without ill effect.

Vision

Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Oksi's Plane.

Step

Can enter and exit Oksi's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.

Form

Can convert parts of their body into a gas or has this gas incorporated into their form.

Body

Can convert entire body into any gas and merge with or travel along other gases.
