Moonshadows heavy infantry response to a new enviornment in the Northern Plains and the growing power of House Ironhelm . These heavy spearman are used to fighting in the desert and the snow alike. They wear heavy lammallar armour, covered with with flowing cloaks in a desert enviornment to combat the sun and hot weather. They wear heavy bearskin cloaks in the snowy enviornments.

Founded in 1083, origionally to protect the towns of Silverbrook and then also Red Pine Valley in 1117. Still based in Elmstar these spearman have become extremly adaptable to their environment, be it cold or hot.

The soldiers train daily in thier host city both small unit and large deployment tactics if there is anough of them
Thier fighting style is similar to the Ravenseye Hoplites, but not as deep in the ranked deployment.
