Red Pine Valley

History

Founded in 1101 by House Moonshadow as part of their aggressive setteling plan supported by the house. The large forests of the western Northern Plains Are perfectly suited for the large ships used by merchant and warrior alike.

The town sprung up to support the forester expeditions and it has grown to dominate the local area.

To protect the new valuable holding, Moonshadow has stationed a group of Star Blessed Spears, though they are not yet equipped or confident fighting in the snowy norther forests.

Population

The town has grown quickly over its 72 year history. It now supports 1500 people, predominantly human, (50%), with a large amount of elves (25%) dwarves (20%) and others (5%).

Economy

The primary economy of Red Pine Valley is lumber and forestry. Felling timber, and hauling it to large sawmills like the Barca Sawmill Which is the largest tidal sawmill

Of course with dense forests surrounding the town, many hunt in these forests, or fish on the cold costal waters.
