Island of the Council is mainly under the control of gnomes from Brastle Plains to help with the upkeep and the staffing of the various colleges of study.
The biggest draws of the island city are the colleges of different areas of study, the Council's Castle and its most famous tavern, The Purple Rose.
It sits in the middle of the Crystal Lake .The seat of the council is currently headed by Glemin Nudback.
