Vostok

A small farming town on the eastern edge of the island of Ivanov in Myltev. Cpt. Tarkov used it as his base of operations before becoming the sole ruler of Myltev in 876.

History

Although trading posts and pirate forts had been built on the land for centuries, the town of Vostok was formally established in the the early 6th century of the 4th Cycle. With the island of Ivanov's vast farmlands, the villagers of Vostok managed to establish profitable trade routes with the nations of Sardivelia and Gameth over the next several decades. Perhaps it was because of this agricultural industry that few of its inhabitants chose to adopt a life of theft and piracy.
Under the leadership of King Nikolaj Baratov Vostok has experienced fewer and fewer pirate raids, allowing for a boom in farming in the surrounding countryside to feed Myltev's burgeoning population.
