Majeure

a mining town in the northern region of Despero near the Temeraire Mtns. The town acts as the final outpost of civilization and comfort for travelers heading into the Campanel Desert, and the dragonborn minority here has amassed a considerable amount of wealth and influence from decades of lucrative mining deals. 
Majeure is home to the Chateaubriand Finishing School, a private academy where young nobles go to hone their magical abilities safe from the rowdy atmosphere of larger schools like Mulane College.
