Jupiter Talzerine
A tiefling sorceress who attended the disastrous will reading of the Marquis George Vechian in 850. She married a distant relative of the Marquis who died under mysterious circumstances, perhaps explaining her generous bequeathment from the will. She was nearly killed by some spectral entity after Gaultier set the Vechian manor aflame, but she managed to escape to the pier with the other survivors. She would go to use her newfound wealth to run a successful criminal enterprise in Southern Pescat with Ysmyrelda Starr.
Despite a falling out with Ys sometime in the 860's, Jupiter continued to profitably lead her criminal empire well into the 4th Cycle's tenth century. Despite pressure from the Handgun and Kobold Shipping Service, Despero's criminal underground remained firmly under her control until her death in 924. A reunion with Ysmyrelda that spring was marred by Jupiter attempting to trap her old business partner's soul inside a Magic Jar, but Ys managed to escape the encounter while the half-elf's allies in the Handgun swooped into Despero after Jupiter's passing later that same year.
