CoS Session 1: Humble Beginnings
General Summary
7/1/873
- Roland Fireheart and Catriona Quinn traveled from the town of Westmont to Gameria
- They're escorting an Avicennan merchant named Tarpin Melchor to the city, roughly a week's journey
- Along the way the two of them came across abandoned church, and Roland found a Ring of Pickpocketing
- Afterwards they got attacked by agoblin riding a boar
- Catriona burned the goblin, and Roland sliced it in half
- Tarpin convinced the party to take a detour to an abandoned mining town in the Nestorian Mtns, saying there'd something valuable to sell there
- Inside the town hall the party discovered a small globe glowing with a pale light, which recounted a sprawling prophecy to whoever touched it
- The prophecy warned against undead spellcasters, political intrigue, and extradimensional threats
- Also, an undead bear would show up after the globe was activated
- The bear nearly killed Roland, but Catriona charmed it with 'Animal Friendship' and calmed it down
- The party left the mining town and headed back to Gameria, burning the town's city hall to the ground behind them
