Eternal Fields

The Eternal Fields, also referred to as the Realm of Creation or the "multiverse" (not to be confused with the actual multiverse), was the second dimension created by the gods and the dimension in which the majority of the population of the Edt' Maji resides.

Creation

The Eternal Fields was initially created by the gods sometime after the creation of the Palace of the Gods in Atnonut's Dimension. The new dimension was meant to serve as their so-called "realm of creation," in which their power and creativity could be expressed through the creation of "fields," the dimension-esque planes of existance that make up the Eternal Fields.   The first three fields created by the gods were Maji, Gigan, and Earth. Maji was the first, a piece of art created with contribution from all six of the gods. After the creation of Maji, the gods found that the field was far too dark and thus created Gigan with its shining seas and oceans meant to give light to the Eternal Fields; in the sky, Gigan appears as the sun to all other fields within its reach. The third field, Earth, is the home-field of the godkin, a group of beings directly descended from the gods themselves through the splitting of their souls into many, weaker forms.   The gods would continue to create many more, lesser fields during their time in the dimension, the total amount of fields created by the gods being around a thousand. The gods are known to have left behind many "agents" within fields, individual beings or forces of nature often serving as protectors or having some other god-given purpose (examples include the guardian spirits of Torlos, Solid Nitrogen, and the World Computer. Collectively, these agents are known as "fey."   After the Divine Schism, and the creation of men and giants, the remaining gods halted their creation in the Eternal Fields and returned to Atnonut's Dimension. Over time and as the inhabitants of the dimensions grew in magical and technological power, many more, minor fields and sub-fields would be created without the influence of the gods; these fields are akin to pocket dimensions in both size and use, and their numbers are easily in the thousands.

Structure

The Eternal Fields easily has the most complex structure in relation to the other dimensions. It is comprised of many "fields," each their own, largely independent plane of existance.   Each field is suspended in a void-like realm known as liminal space, which makes up the vast majority of the dimension; looking up at the night sky, each star is its own field and the darkness inbetween them is liminal space. Liminal space ranges in structure from an empty, space-like void to a never-ending maze of barren halls and rooms. Liminal space can be used to traverse the Eternal Fields, moving through it from one field to another, but the realm is generally considered inhospitable to life, only supporting those who have taken specific precautions before venturing through it. Alternatively, many "neighboring" fields are connected by a strong, magical bond, appearing in the night sky as constellations; fields connected in this way can be travelled to from one another through magical means, either by use of a magical item or a spell/ability of some sort.   Although all fields are unique, most of them follow similar rules and possess a similar structure. Most fields contain one, primary plane; a large, flat disk in which the inhabinants of the field call home. At the edges of the disk, which are usually inaccesible, or atleast very difficult to reach, by the field's inhabinants due to the presence of some sort of barrier (such as the Forbidden Sea on Maji or the Antarctic Ice Wall on Earth), the field begins to transition into liminal space. Many fields also possess orbiting celestial objects in nearby liminal space, such as moons, planets, or asteroid belts. Not all fields follow these structural rules, and some can stray far from them, but most fields are structured similarly to this description.   Additionally, each field is "overlapped" by a unique, dimension-wide field known as the Field of Unseeing. It possesses very little natural objects, inhabinants, and landscapes, rather being the realm where people and objects hidden from sight can be found. Spiritual creatures such as ghosts, and people and objects who are invisible or otherwise hidden by illusions reside within this realm. By nature of the Field of Unseeing, spiritual entities and those invisible or otherwise hidden by illusions can only hide their appearance when within a field; when in liminal space or another dimension, spiritual entities appear no different from living beings and illusions fail to hide ones appearance.   There is a coordinate system maintained by the MIB and used by inter-fieldal societies to name and list fields. It is a five-digit system in which numbers are assigned to fields often in the order they were created by the gods or by other forces; the first thousand fields are generally considered to be the "major" and "lesser" fields (those fields created by the gods), whereas subsequent fields are considered to be "minor" fields (fields created by other forces). Sub-fields (fields housed within other fields) are denoted by a decimal value added onto the primary field's coordinates.   The list of known fields goes as follows:

Field of Unseeing

Field 00000   The Field of Unseeing is given the coordinates 00000 by the MIB. Although its coordinates come before Maji's, it was not the first field created by the gods, instead having been formed alongside Maji, overlapping it and all other subsequent fields.

Maji

Main Article: Maji   Field 00001   Maji was the first field to be created by the gods. It is a large, lush field that was initially populated with a variety of beasts and monstrosities. The field would later become populated by godkin after the Migration to Maji and possibly even earlier. Since then, the field has experienced thousands of years of history fueled by conflict between Tiilaer and the godkin that inhabit it. Due to Tiilaer's specific interest in the field and the presence of various, powerful artifacts within it, the MIB has forbidden travel to Maji as one of their most strongly enforced laws.

Gigan

Field 00002   Gigan was the second field created by the gods, created for the purpose of shining light across the Eternal Fields with its glowing seas. Looking to the sky of another field, Gigan appears as the sun and is the source of all daylight. The field itself is a lush field, similar to that of Earth or Maji, but much larger; in fact, Gigan is the largest of the fields. The sheer size of the field has allowed for its fauna to grow to become massive titans, the largest of them reaching the sizes of small moons. Within its vast landscape, Gigan is also home to a sentient race of wolf-like beings known as the Vamen, who possess natural, vampiric abilities.

Earth

Main Article: Earth   Field 00003   Earth was the third field created by the gods and is the homeland of the godkin, beings descended directly from the gods through the splitting of their souls into many, weaker forms. Those races include the angels, dwarves, elves, funniguys, giants, men, and tinymen. Throughout the history of the Eternal Fields, many of those groups would migrate throughout the dimension; the most notable of these migration events being the Migration to Maji, in which the majority of the non-human godkin within the field left for Maji. Nonetheless, the field of Earth experienced a long, detailed history up until the invasion of the Toad in the year 2020 AD, after which the vast majority of Earth's remaining population fled to Earth II.   Throughout most of its history, Earth was a lush field, like the two that came before it, but after the invasion and bombing of the field by the Toad, Earth became a wasteland, much like that of Trash World.

Trash World

Main Article: Trash World   Field 00004   Trash World was once a lush field, but sometime in its past, it was invaded and bombed by the Toad and his greys. Since then, Trash World has become a wasteland, used as trash-dump by many inter-fieldal societies. The field is home to a race of fieldal men, known as Trash People, a notable member of this race being Trashboy.

Field 00012

Field 00012   Field 00012 is the home-field of the MIB. The MIB, standing for Multi-fieldal Intelligence Bureau, is a powerful governmental force within the Eternal Fields. Their goal is to maintain order within the dimension and prevent it from falling into chaos; they are known to create laws and enforce them over a large jurisdiction comprising hundreds, if not thousands of fields, executing those who break their laws and banishing their souls to Hell. They are the same organization that oversees the creation of new fields and assigns coordinates to them.   Field 00012 is a small, lush field and his home to many sub-fields used by the MIB, the most notable of those sub-fields being the MIB Headquarters.

MIB Headquarters

Field 00012.6   The MIB Headquarters is a sub-field of Field 00012. The sub-field itself is a large metropolis in which the MIB uses as their primary base of operations.

Earth II

Field 00076   Earth II is a lush field, very similar to Earth. It serves as the home of Earth's inhabinants after the invasion of the Toad and takeover of Earth by Ratatouille. The field was initially colonized by the Nazi Party after they fled from Earth due to the failure of the Carbon Copier, establishing the city of Xixax within the field.   Earth II serves as the home for Earth populations after the bombing of Earth by the invading Greys and the takeover of Earth by Ratatouille.   It was initially colonized by the Nazi Party after they fled from Earth due to the failure of the Carbon Copier. Upon the migration of Earth's population to Earth II, the Nazis established political dominance over the field. The Nazi control of Earth II was eventually stopped by Trash Boy and the Heroes.   Earth II is also home to the World Computer.

Kite World

Field 226   The Kite World is a small, green field.   It is home to a race of fieldal men, as well as an unknown, omnipresent race, and possibly Fairies.

Light Field

Field 266   The Light Field is a small field that is home to the KKK.   The KKK of the Light Field have been warring with the fieldal men of the Dark Field for an unknown period of time.

Whiteboard Realm

Field 394   The Whiteboard Realm is a small, two-dimensional field.   It is unknown if the Whiteboard Realm has any native life, but it is able to support it, as it is ruled over by a three-dimension being, known as the Ginger Ambassador.

Grassman Plains

Field 420   Grassman Plains is a very small, lush field.   It is owned and ruled over by the Grassman, although other individuals pass through frequently.

Lime Mounds Area

Field 439   The Lime Mounds Area is a small, lush field.   It is home to a large population of hedgehogs and was home to the Swagmaniac for some time.

Hell

Field 666   Hell is a field that has been taken over and corrupted by the Faerii Place.   Unlike other fields, Hell cannot be entered through most circumstances. To enter Hell, one must die and be reborn there. There is an exception for those who have come from there; one can be summoned from Hell and then sent back after furfilling whatever role they were summoned to complete.   Hell is mainly populated by Demons. One such inhabinant, is the Raa Man.

Heaven

Field 777   Heaven is a field that can only be accessed through death. It is the opposite of Hell.

Tango Land

Field ???   Tango Land is a heavenly field that is home to the Tangos.   Tango Land is is a field that is made from solid clouds.   The inhabinants of Tango Land are the Tangos, a race of orange troll-men who have genie-like powers. They form a family hierarchy in Tango Land, in which the eldest of the Tangos rules the field.   Tango Land does not have known coordinates.
