Frost
Nestled between the frosted grasslands and the almost eternally snow-covered plains of Laputa, Frost is a surprisingly hardy town with a unique ecosystem creating a coveted product: Laputan Ice Flowers and specifically Laputan Honey. What was originally merely a merchant's stop in the old days of Atalanta was soon discovered to be an ideal host to certain breeds of flowers that technically originate from The Elemental Plane, but thrived and mutated on the Material Plane.
This also meant an evolutionary change of some creatures, as Bees, Butterflies, and various other nectar-loving creatures began to live and adapt in the colder conditions of Laputa's snowfields.
Demographics
Although Frosts population isn't as grand as other Laputan cities, its demographics are rather diverse, owing to its origins as a merchant town before gaining specialization. However there is still a good amount of standard trader stores, and they maintain good relations with other cities, especially Aralos as Laputan Honey is ideal for cold meads.
Government
Frost is ran much the same as any other Laputan city, with the Chancellor overseeing the important decisions and securing the integrity of the scientific advancements, as well as Frost being partially a merchant's town. Due to its several key industries, there is a small council that decides on all-encompassing issues but tend to stick to their own specialties.
Defences
Frost's defenses are rather humble, stronger in the fields and beehive sector of the town than the merchant sector opposite of it, but between the defenses they do have and the royal knights posted in town, they've managed thus far.
Industry & Trade
Frost's greatest industry is Honey, both the production and shipment of the product and the various things you can do with Honey and bee by-products. As such there's also been a handful of key developments in the fields of food storage, shipment, and preservation that originated in Frost. It's second largest industry is Botany, as it is connected to the first, along with Entomology to keep the pollinating insects in tip-top shape.
Lastly, Frost has a lucrative Merchant population, but most of them are capitalizing on what's already present.
Infrastructure
Frost has a rather simple infrastructure (For Laputan standards) but functions mostly off of hydroelectric power, along with the obvious arcane energy supplements. However, in order to preserve the health of the land to keep the flowers and pollinating creatures active, it's far less technological than other parts of the country.
Tourism
The flower fields of Frost are some of the most beautiful in Edda, and their uniqueness due to the biome makes them equally cherished. Alongside that, there is a yearly honey festival that draws in a massive crowd.
Architecture
The town is mostly made up of simple squared architecture using wood and stone, but some artistic and funded minds have made certain parts of the town's architecture hexagonal to match with the aesthetic of a beehive.
