Diwo
A small walled city lies to the west of Nyx, across the Leaf Vein Rivers in Atalanta, it is known as the Stone Mining Town. At first, it was merely a settlement for the miners, who worked in the stone mines beneath what is now the perimeter of the town, but as more miners came, and more fisherman came, and more swamp foragers came the settlement became a town.
As opposed to its sister city to the east, it isn't a city full of Crafters and those who produce items, but instead filled with those who find and refine the items they used. As such, it isn't as populated as Nyx and is in fact listed as a territory underneath Nyx's power, but it's an independent and self-sufficient town all its own.
In modern days, the town has been able to keep that success and is still a lucrative area for mining, gem panning, fishing, and swamp farming.
Demographics
Must like Nyx, Diwo mostly consists of Elven and Dwarven crafters, with a decent amount of Humans and Tieflings as well.
Government
While the Senator has power over the city officially, he has been having contention with a powerful workers union who, with the aid of an order of knights and warriors sympathetic to their cause, has been causing trouble around the town as well as undermining his authority at every opportunity.
Defences
The cities walls have stood strong ever since its inception, including during The Border Wars when it was attacked in order to stop a flow of supplies, which was repelled and gave Nyx enough time to bolster their defences as well to prevent an attack on the city.
Industry & Trade
Masonry, Mining, and Refinement are the popular industries of the city, and arguably what keeps it floating. The Senator, however, seems to be trying to favor the lumber industry more for some reason, most likely due to him having a decent stock in it.
Infrastructure
The city isn't insanely advanced, but they do have a functioning sewer system, and Mana Power grid, but the main pride of their infrastructure is their mineshaft ventilation systems, which served as a basis for the systems used in the rest of Edda in the modern-day.
Assets
The town has a great wealth of metal and stone, mostly Leysteel and Copper, and due to that has one of the largest weapon stores in Atalanta, mostly for the use of city guards across the country.
Architecture
Most of the city merely has stone and wood architecture that one could see anywhere, but there are a few notable locations within the city, such as The Sanctuary of White Light, the main religious building of the town.
