Introduction:

The War of the Bleeding Sky is often called the most infamous war in galactic history, despite it happening only 486 years ago. It is given the title for good reason, as the three month conflict led to millions of innocent civilians suffering in immense agony to the hands of the Formatide .

The Beginning:

Two years before the conflict, the formatide developed their own plane shift drives and travelled to the closest star to Eox. As per tradition, a representative of the Empire met the formatide explorers and gifted them knowledge on the stars. While the initial exchange went well, the Mycelium Mind began creating a sinister plan. From their point of view, alien life existed to provide food and hosts to the formatide. Eox began building a massive fleet and prepared for multiple invasions.
The war officially began when Eox launched five invading fleets to five nearby populated planets, including Zadus. Because the attack was unprompted, the imperial military was unable to prevent the initial invasion. However, war had begun.

Major Events:

-Once news of the five invasions spread across the galaxy, people were outraged. Many compared the formatide to a "zombie army" that needed to be destroyed.
