Introduction:

Ares is the independent homeworld of the Zalta. It lies in the Tarolov system, which is located inside the borders of the United Federation of Humanity. Ares has been the UFH's closest ally for thousands of years, dating back to the UFH's formation.

Description:

Ares is a desert world, with very little water existing on the surface. The majority of water exists under the surface in massive underground oceans. Ares' atmosphere is thinner than average but is still comfortable for most species, which helps support the planet's dry climate. It has 79% of Rocheron's gravity, which is suitable for many species. It has one large moon.
