Personal history

Raised by a middle-class family who made a substantial living by bookbinding. They lived in a village to the west, a couple hours walk from Irontown. When she was young, her father was killed during a raid by the Jhorash'Tal tribe. They were wealthy enough to afford to relocate to the less threatened town of Teryk and reestablish themselves.
She would learn much of the word of the god Boldrei from a huntress who lived in the area. Xaneph resolved herself to help her neighbors in whatever way the Gods decided she was able, since she was never skilled with a weapon.

Education

pseudo-apprenticeship as a bookbinder, working with her parents. Learned much of the Sovereign Host after moving to Teryk.

Employment

Serves as an ecclesiastical scribe, librarian and acolyte for the town Church.
