Personal history
Artemio Moretti is the son of Lartio and Ginnia Moretti. As a child he was sent to squire for Lord Tomane Russoma at Asilane. He was taught in the ways of Lordship, Swordsmanship. He was also to be taught in the skills of Spellcraft but was unable to learn the skill as many before him. Artemio failure was much more sevear however after he accidently crippled his teacher, Orelio during a miscasting of a spell.
During his fostering, he met Davia and Leopo Russoma who he became great friends with. The youngest of the Russoma children, Robero, however was always a cold younger man who was rumored to have hated Artemio. Once he finished squiring for Tomane Russoma and he returned home, he discovered a woman by the name of Elyna Fanari whom he soon discovered he was too marry. They tried and tried for several years to have a child but were unsuccesful. But eventually she became pregnant and had a child. She died during the child birth and he name his new son Jerry Moretti.

Mental Trauma
When Moretti was fifteen, he was being trained by Mage Orelio of house Russoma. Moretti was to be trained in the art of spellcraft as was shown to be promising. He had easily studdied the skill of Healing and Wards but ultimently he failed after causing a cancerous growth in Orelio's leg after miscasting a healing spell. The spell caused the leg to swell up so much that it had to be cut off before the tumor could spread throughout the body. Since then Artemio was forbidden to pratice magic while at Asilane. Moretti was since traumatized of magic and refused to practice it ever again. Years later, his son Jerry started to learn magic as well. he tried to support him, but secretly he feared and hate that he practied that, so he often sent him on noble quests just to get him away from the castle.
Artemio was further traumatized after the death of his wife, Elyna Moretti during child birth. As she was dying, he made a promise to her that he would protect their son and leave him a great legacy. He wanted Jerry to be a great lord, but he always had his doubts and his fears. Moretti is an abitious man, but a fearful one as well. It is his own caution that gets in front of his own goals.
