Rakari

Rakari is a large city built along the Hokarasi river south of the Capital of Lisani. It's a large buslting city that rules over nearly half of the Storm Coasts. It's widely known for their jewelsmiths. They control the Iron Hills to the east and the Fields to the north.

Defences

The City is protected by a large 50ft tall wall around it. There's a second wall in the inner city where the Silverhall Keep Stands just south of the Hokrasi river but north of the Tari river that flows into the Hokrasi. The City has four main gate houses. The Iron Gate to the southwest, The Watch Gate to the east, The Green Gate to the northeast, and the New Gate to the west and north of the Hokrasi river.

Assets

Rakari owns all from the Eastern Iron Hills to the Northern Plains.
Although known as the Irons hills, they also provide a numerous wealth of gold, silver, copper, and tin. The lands also allow for many stone quarries which harvest marble, granite, and other stones used for making concrete.
The Northern Plains also known as, "Rakari's Bread Basket." Mostly produce wheat but also produce a number of fruits and vegtebles such as apples, pears, oranges, grapes, etc.

Guilds and Factions

Many guilds have formed within Rakari including, The Jeweler's Guilds, located at the Crossing where the Green Road and the New Road meet. The Masons guild is one of the oldest guilds in the City and is located south of the Hokrasi. There's also the Dyers Guild, Smith's Guild, and Candlemakers.

History

Rakari is an old city named after an old King of Bronze who had fallen ages ago in a bloody war known as the War of the Great River. However, while the Bronze King fell, the city still thrived through it's strategic placement. There's a gloomy song written about it known as The War Drum, although the original singer is unknown.

Natural Resources

The city is built right on top of the Hokrasi river allowing plenty of fishing and sailing. directly off of the river is plenty of wood from the jungles and to the south are the Iron mines. Although not within reach of the city, they are owned by the providence.
